Hello helen I have just been reading your blog - and felt we had a lot in common! I was born in Welling in Kent. And I too had to give away special toys before leaving England. The one that hurt most was a teddy that I had to hand on to a cousin and he gave it the ridiculous name of Humphrey! Hope you get my stocking soon - our planes have all been on schedule this weekend, so it should not be delayed as our mails often are! Mary on Norfolk Island
